I’m a writer, an independent publishing consultant, video producer, podcaster and mentor, with tons of experience in independent publishing, cover design and typesetting.

My first novel, Safe Hands, was published in 2023. It was the first in my Mickey Blake series. The first book was described by best-selling author of Before I Go To Sleep, SJ Watson as being a ‘… thrilling crime debut.’

The sequel, The Call Back, followed in 2025, with the third book in the series scheduled for release later this year.

Since 2014, I’ve hosted The Write Place Podcast, where I’ve spent the last decade talking to authors about how and why they write. In 2026 I released my first non-fiction book, Real Writers Never Quit, telling the story of my own writing journey alongside inspirational quotes and advice from all those incredible podcast guests.

I have twenty years of experience in video production, having written and produced several award-winning films, including the feature-length documentary, NO FARE: The Sian Green Story and INKLING, a short drama which was an official selection at the International HorrorHound Film Festival in Ohio.
